The brand is best known for its Wild Animal Track designs — intricate illustrations formed from animal tracks like deer, bear, moose, turkey, and coyote — that highlight the stories left behind on forest floors and woodland trails.

Founded by artist Jill Mahan, Bold Spark Design grew from Jill’s deep connection to the outdoors. Inspired by time spent hunting and exploring the woods with her boyfriend Dick, she began turning the tracks she observed in the wild into unique visual art, with her first design — a Christmas wreath made of animal tracks — becoming an instant favorite.
